Luis Alberto Sanchez Vallejos, age 79, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 11, 2016 in McAllen, Texas. He was surrounded by his beloved partner Michelle, his loving sons, and daughter-in-law at the time of his death. Luis, also known as Lucho by family and as Louie by friends, was a great and caring father. A man with a big heart for volunteering, he loved to contribute his time and energy to his church and community. He was a soccer player/coach and co-established the first club soccer team in New Richmond in the 1980’s. He had been a tennis coach for the New Richmond schools over the years, and always spoke highly of the program. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. He volunteered as an usher at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a retired international sales manager for SIG Corporation (formerly Doboy) in New Richmond. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Alejandro, Carlos, Marina, Frida, and Maria. He is survived by his beloved partner, Margaret Michelle Meath; his sons Luis (Cindy Conner), Tony (Carmen Fountain), Brian (Tina Lord), and Damion (Annette Hiesinger); and 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; former spouse Judith Sullivan; and many close friends. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, Wisconsin. A Visitation service will be conducted on Tuesday January 19, 2016 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
