Edwin Michael Miller age 97 died peacefully at his daughter’s home in Illinois on April 1, 2012. Edwin was born on August 14, 1914 in Chicago, Illinois to George & Stella (Tomaszewski) Mieloszyk. Edwin served with the U S Navy Seabees in the Pacific during WW II and the Korean Conflict and was with the Navel Reserves for 6 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Curtis Michael Miller; wife, Anna Galayda Miller; siblings, Theodore, Rose, Florence, Elizabeth (Betty). He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Robert) Miller Charniak; daughter in law, Cheryl Trowbridge-Miller, siblings, Edna, Gene and Lucy; grandchildren, Michael Robert Charniak, Sara Lyn (Charniak) Salvato, Lindsey (Brian) Miller Allesandrini, Collin (Elaine) Miller, Jacob Taylor; great grandchildren, Tobas Robert Charniak, Sebastian Charniak, Samantha Renee Salvato, Madeline Rose Salvato, Jada Taylor, Abigale Miller, Anna Miller, Tyler Allesandrini, Adam Allesandrini, Sophia Allesandrini. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday April 10, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
