Ruby Lynn Smith, age 75, of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away on December 8, 2022. Ruby was born on May 26, 1947, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Guy and Lois (Cole) Smith. She worked at the Health & Rehab Center in New Richmond, Wisconsin for many years until she retired.
Ruby had a passion for cross stitching and embroidery. Her cross stitching’s and embroidery were beautiful works of art. She also loved to do puzzles. Ruby was an avid music lover. Ruby was known for her kind and compassionate spirit.
She was preceded in death by her father, Guy; and her mother, Lois; brothers, David, Paul, Terry, and Gary; sister, Linda; bonus parents, Idella and Sumner Bright; and special friend, Mike Olson.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Patrick) Brenholt; grandchildren, Branden (Angelina) Brenholt, Brittany (Ken) Robinette, Katelyn (Cody) Nielsen; great grandchildren, Tamina and Katerina Brenholt, Carter Nielsen; sister, Judy Smith. Also survived by special friends, Linda Aanonson, Mary Christian, Laura Bright and Debbie, David, and Eric Olson.
Funeral service begins at 11 AM on Thursday, December 15th, 2022, at Cullen Crea Funeral Home, 307 S Arch Ave, New Richmond, WI. Visitation for one hour prior to Funeral at Cullen Crea Funeral Home. Graveside service at Cushing Cemetery in Cushing, WI following the Funeral service. There will be a get together at the Wolf Creek Bar and Restaurant after the burial.
